Estes Park - Saturday Report

  1. That was a great update. The river looks a little scary. We have temps in the high 80s today In Antioch, CA. I found the Yarn Place online and ordered the Irish Girl Graceful in greens and blues. They only had the 1100 yard balls up so I ordered two. I want to make the Xiphium Shawl by Myra Wood with it.

  3. What a wonderful trip. Thanks for sharing. Love the roving, wish I knew how to spin. Next on my list of things to learn.

  4. The batts look yummy! You were very restrained about those fleeces but the voyeur in me hopes you call those vendors and buy them. I've knit with Graceful and you get a lot of yardage from the one ball. I was able to make the Sampler Shawl out of "A Gathering Of Lace" with just one ball. I look forward to your future projects :-)

  5. Wow! Fall River sure is running high! I'm glad you're having fun in beautiful Estes - I can't believe this was the first time you've seen elk! :) I bought a used Louet S15 at the Iowa Sheep & Wool Festival today. I may eventually bring it to Whole Foods for some tips! :) Have a safe trip back!

  6. It was so nice to quickly meet you at the vendor bar when I was with LynnZimm. There were so many great things at there. The only reason I made it out with money left is because I'm not a spinner.
