FO of the Week
Glynis by Cookie A. from Sock Innovation
-Wollmeise 100% in Die Auster
-Mods: Went up a needle size to US 2 (2.75 mm), did 20 rows of ribbing, and only 7 pattern repeats on the leg.
-Had 66 grams left from 150 gram skein
-Yay! for Signature dpns and their stiletto points! I would have had a lot more frustration with these socks if it weren't for the needles.
Next on the Needles

-next pattern for the KAL
-be sure to check for errata!!
-I'll be using my skein of Wollmeise 100% in Pesto - We're Different

Events

-I'll be there in a week! Watch for some special reports from Estes!
Tour de Fleece
-July 3-25
-I'm planning to have a goal of spinning every day. No weight goal for me.

Not that I think it will change your decision, but just as a note...the 64 stitches on the Eunice sock go up to 80 stitches as soon as you are done with the ribbing. Which is good, you'll need the extra give!
ReplyDeleteI have 2 pair of Signature circs, US 6 & 7, I think. I am knitting a shawl with one of them and I love them! The cable is wonderful! I am also waiting for 2mm-3.25mm circulars for my sock knitting. I am so not a dpn person.
ReplyDeleteI always have to go up a needle size for any Cookie A socks I knit... Your Glynis socks look great!!
ReplyDeleteI also hope that Signature comes out with some sock-useful circulars. I always lose dpns so I don't want to spend the money for them, but a size 2, stiletto point circular would be great!!
