  1. Name for the B-
"HOLDA", whose patronage extends outward to control of the weather, and source of women's fertility, and the protector of unborn children, is the patron of spinners, rewarding the industrious and punishing the idle. Holda taught the secret of making linen from flax. An account of Holda was collected by the Brothers Grimm, as the fairy tale "Frau Holda". Another of the Grimm tales, "Spindle, Shuttle, and Needle", which embeds social conditioning in fairy tale with mythic resonances, rewards the industrious spinner with the fulfillment of her mantra:

"Spindle, my spindle, haste, haste thee away,
and here to my house bring the wooer, I pray."

  2. Loved catching up with the show. Here is a copy from Wikipedia about the bee queens of mythology:
The bee was an emblem of Potnia, the Minoan-Mycenaean "Mistress", also referred to as "The Pure Mother Bee".[1] Her priestesses received the name of "Melissa" ("bee").[1] In addition, priestesses worshipping Artemis and Demeter were called "Bees".
So I suggest Melissa, Artemis or especially Demeter for naming your bee wheel.

  3. Your shipwreck is awesome! I hope the snag wasn't too bad.
Thanks for a great show btw, I haven't commented before (I think) but I wait eagerly for each new episode :-)

  4. I second the Beatrice suggestion. It's the first name that popped into my head.
My second suggestion is Betty, for personal reasons.

  5. The shawl is lovely! Another possible name for the wheel: "Honey."

By the way, in case you did not know, the term "AB" referring to the finish on your beads stands for "Aurora Borealis." However, I think your term, "oil slick," describes it as well or better than "northern lights." :-)
