  1. Happy Podcasting Anniversary! I'm glad you stuck with it! :) I hope the rest of your week goes much better!

  2. Sad to hear that you had a bad week, but glad that reading all the comments cheered you up.

I think a good name for your new socks would be "One Crazy Year Socks". This ties in with the fact that you started them on the day of your anniversary show, and also ties in with the yarn being used.

Keep up the great work with the podcasting - I look forward to watching the episodes every week

  3. Congrats on your one year anniversary! I believe "Fliederduft" has something to do with lilacs...but don't quote me on that one. My German is woefully inadequate.

  4. "Fliederduft" means scent of lavender.

    Congrats to all the winners!

  5. Congrats on your Anniversary!! Can't wait to see what you do this next year:)

  6. google translater says lilac fragrance|en|Fliederduft

  7. Happy Anniversary with the podcast. I am so glad you stuck it out because I really look forward to Thursday mornings:) I drink my cup of coffee with you and bookmark different sites that you source. Because on a lot of them I had no idea they were out there till your review. So Thank-You!!! Looking forward to this year to see what you are up to:)

  8. Happy Anniversary!!! Love the podcast.

  9. Happy Anniversary from me as well.

"Fliederduft" is pronounced approximately "fleederdooft" (with a short "ooh"). It's scent of lilac, not lavender.

  10. missed last week as I was catching up, but now want to wish you a "happy podcast birthday" and please continue your format just "as is."

It has been a lot of fun following you all year -- refreshing, educational, and just plain fun! Doggie appearances always welcome, too! Seriously -- esp. love how you work on your projects and show us ... I need to be better with my WIPs. And your craft room: it will be fabulous when done, trust me LOL

  11. Happy Anniversary - Just found your podcast and it's great. You are instantly likeable and have a great format. I love SEEING what you are working on and really enjoy knitting whle I watch and listen. Keep up the good work!

  12. Hi Carin,

just catching up on the episodes (having 10 week old twins is kind of cutting into my knitting/computer time :) ) Happy Anniversary! Can you show on the videocast how to flick card? I'm still a beginner when it comes to spinning or fiberprep...
