Awesome! Glad it's all working well now :) And my BBR roving arrived as well, so soft and I can't wait to start spinning. (BTW, they did charge me the same as you, but I'm not complaining at all!)
those leyburn socks?? are sooo pretty! i must admit, i've never bought any STR, but now i may have to pick up some of that colorway! thanks for posting this, i enjoy it so far! keep it up!
I too have missed you. Love the video so I can see the yarn and fiber you are working with. For Xmas knitting I make enough hats (plus a few extras) for all the people celebrating with us. On Xmas eve the whole group draws numbers and they can pick a hat or steal someone else's. Last year the Knitty fish hat was the biggest hit. Also liked by the guys were the fake isles I made with skulls.
Glad you are back! I don't spin, but that back of yak/alpaca is mighty tempting. I could tell through the video just how soft it is! Have fun spinning it!
Wanted to add myself to the list of people who are glad you're back! I missed you on LnV, and I'm so excited to actually see what you're working on. Keep up the great work!! :)
Thanks for another enjoyable episode, Carin. Looking forward to the next. I agree with Tini about the Ishbel but would also recommend the Aestlight Shawl by The Shetland Trader which knits up really quickly and is stunning.
I love your new podcast. It is nice to see what you are knitting. I also have the Kitri kit to make. Keep up the video podcast
ReplyDeleteI love this, and it seems you've become pretty technically savvy over the past few days!
ReplyDeleteMuch better! I can hear you ++ and omg all that fiber you must put the link up to that place !

ReplyDeleteAnother great episode! I'm with TeresaP and Tini, Ishbel is a great pattern. I'm knitting it up right now for a friend who has been under the weather.
ReplyDeleteI totally forgot I had STR County Clare until I saw your leyburns...I need to find it and make something with it. :)
Yay I wondered where you had gone. I found out you had a midcoast. Love it btw!
