Episode 17 - A Good Mail Week



On the Needles
-Mom's Christmas present
-lost 5 knitting days due to family commitments around Thanksgiving
-As-Yet-Unnamed Toe-Up sock
-Knit in Conjoined Creations Flat Feet (no color name)
-using Eyelet Swirls pattern from Vogue Knitting Stitchionary Vol. One: Knit and Purl -US size 2 (2.75 mm) needles
-started for class with Deb Barnhill at Sock Summit

No spinning or FO of the week due to....

-Blue Moon Fiber Arts
-Dreidel, Jewel of the Nile, Vine Maple, Strange Brew, Jonagold, Jabberwocky, Green Eyed Monster, Gail's Autumn Joy, The Witching Hour
-RSC December package arrived too!
-Wollmeise Grab Bag 100% superwash merino
-Amazonas, Ebenholz, Neptun, Pesto, and another one that looks like it's called Libello?

And I forgot to mention that Crown Mountain Farms is having a sale on their superwash merino roving. From December 3-6, the price has been reduced from $22 to $17.60. Go and treat yourself to an early Christmas gift!

  2. Thanks for another great episode, Carin! I'm a German native speaker and my guess for the name of the last Wollmeise skein you showed is "Libelle", it means "dragonfly". ?
    I am very impressed by the gift you are knitting for your mum - and also really glad that I decided not to knit any presents this year...
