    My sister has size 11 feet and her arch to base of heel measurement is 12.5". To compensate (and I also used STR LW) I did 11 repeats of the pattern on the leg and lengthened the heel flap to 6 repeats. I had a decent sized ball leftover. Oh - and her circumference is 8.5 (she's a bit narrow for an 11). So that's something to think about. Add length to your heel flap to compensate for the arch.

    Thanks Christi! Going up to the US 2 needle seemed to have worked for me with the sizing.
