Been wanting to make the Chevron Scarf, and will cast on soon, especially after seeing yours! Can't wait to see how the Twist & Shout looks as yarn once it's spun. I don't spin, and therefore have no idea how these things turn out. Great job on the videocasts!
I tried your predrafting technique on some of CJ Kopec's SAL fiber - some beautiful superwash BFL. BFL can be a bit slippery for me, and so the single tends to drift apart on me. Not so this time! It worked PERFECTLY. Thanks so much for the tip. Does it work on non-sw wool as well, or will that felt it?
Sock yarn! YAY!
ReplyDeleteHm.... do you think we could get a clip of you knitting? It's always interesting to see how other people knit.
That's a great pre-drafting technique! I'll have to try that next time!
ReplyDeleteTerrific! Great episode. I don't usually like chevron scarves, but yours is gorgeous. I may need to reconsider.
ReplyDeleteThanks for showing the Envious Eyes, too - have you posted it into the "better late than never" thread in the CJ Kopec Rav group?
I can't get over how seeing you and your fibre make such a difference. Thanks for showing us your great creative work.
ReplyDeleteI never thought I could get so hopelessly hooked on a video podcast!
